Mentallys wins UQAM Partnership Award

Mentallys was one of nine finalists in the second edition of the De l’idée à l’innovation competition organized by UQAM. The final was held on March 31, 2022, and the Mentallys project team was awarded the Prix Partenariat. Valued at $10,000, the Prix Partenariat recognizes the excellence and potential of a project in development, supported by an ecosystem of committed partners.

The partners involved in the project to date are CIUSSS de l’Estrie (Direction du programme santé mentale et dépendance), CIUSSS de l’Est-de-l’île-de-Montréal (Département de psychiatrie), Association Vox Québec, Association québécoise pour la réadaptation psychosociale, with the collaboration of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec.

The final project presentation was made on stage by co-applicants Stéphane Vial (UQAM, Design) and Sylvie Trudel (UQAM, Computer Science), accompanied by Julie Tansey (Vox Québec) and Sébastien Gambs (UQAM, Computer Science), before a jury comprising Coryell Boffy (Axelys), David Santelli (Esplanade) and Louise Poissant (FRQSC Director), from whose hands the trophy was presented.
